my story
My name is Victoria Kay DaCosta. I have 30 years of clinical dental experience. 25 years as a clinical Dental Hygientst. I saw daily during my clilnical day poor mouth health and a need for early referrals to wellcare providers for patient consultation of body health needs. 20 years ago I was introduced to thermal imaging. I quickly saw the connection for using dental thermal imaging in early detection of teeth infecting the body. I sooned realized the body was giving more information via the teeth nerves which I saw in medical thermography imaging. 15 years non-clinical Dental Medical Hygienist
my history
As a practicing clinical dental hygienist I saw a great need for closing the communication gap between the dental and medical community. I worked with software programmers 20 years ago to begin development on what is known today as DMT Scans. A combined dental and medical reporting verbal and visual software application. The DMT Scan IT software includes features Dentists and MD's, ND's,DC's view the mouth and body as a whole person. The results have been amazing as I am now able to teach and train other like-minded Providers how to take DMT Scans. A strong guide of investigation to "root cause" of diseases that normally could go over looked. For example, a leaky root canal contributing to toxic builid up in breast tissue.
